Meet Susan Guy

Born and raised in Michigan, award winning artist Susan Guy saw Wyoming for the first time in 1991 when she traveled to Yellowstone on vacation with her husband. She fell in love with the light and color of the West and since then has made it the subject of her paintings. She now resides in Buffalo, Wyoming.
 

Guy's work has been included in numerous exhibitions including Arts for the Parks Top 100 in Jackson, WY; The Charles Russell Art Auction and Sale in Great Falls, MT; and The Coors Western Art Show in Denver, CO, where one of her paintings was awarded the People's Choice Award for 2003. Her work is also included in the permanent collections of the Phippen Museum in Prescott, AZ, and The Pearce Western Art Collection at Navarro College in Corsicana, TX, and she recently illustrated two children's alphabet books: "C is for Cowboy" and "B is for Buckaroo", and a numbers book: "Four Wheels West".
